EcoExplorer Thailand was born from frustration with exploitative travel operators and greenwashed “eco-tours.” We are a small independent team of travelers, conservationists and Thai locals who want you to experience the real Thailand — the one that still has wild elephants, healthy reefs, and vibrant communities.
Our promise

Who we are
Founded in 2024 by Mae (Thai conservationist) and Alex (slow-travel photographer). We have spent more than 8 combined years exploring every corner of Thailand by motorbike, longtail boat, and on foot — always with a zero-waste mindset and a refusal to support any form of animal exploitation.
We have visited 19 elephant sanctuaries. Only 4 met our strict ethical standards.
We have dived and snorkeled 27 reefs. We only recommend the 9 that are actively protected by local communities.
